  1. Perhaps you need to purchase an "official" ouija board, whatever that is...

  2. Since they work by you subconsciously pushing the thing yourself (don't tell your friends that) I would try and get a really spooky atmosphere happening, with maybe flickering candles, incense, scary stories etc so that your friends feel more like a 'spirit' is there.

When we did it we used an upturned wine glass and it worked fine.

  3. DON'T USE A HOMEMADE BOARD, PLEASE. They are more dangerous than a store-bought board, since they are more connected to you.

But if you are convinced that nothing bad will happen... try an upside-down wine-glass.

  4. I just want to help you out because the effects from the Ojia board are that the spirit's you call upon are going to haunt you for the rest of your life. Because when I saw someone use it on the haunted house show and they ended up with a very evil spirit.

  5. Good for you not wasting your money on the ones that are sold in the toy departments of stores.  There is no point spending money on something that doesn't work when you can just as easily make it.  You definitely should not be treated like a toddler especially since you show such good fiscal responsibility.

  6. paper is kind of lame you could draw that on card board and use a shot glass.

I used a old glass ash tray once that also worked fine.

what ever you use is should be able to slide very easily

  7. Practice makes perfect.  Remember that you might do better with a pointed wooden block that everyone lays hands on.
