  1. Have a look through: http://homeschoolreviews.com/ and see if you can find something that sounds suitable for your level and preferred method of delivery. Many curriculums have a placement test so you can figure out which book to buy.

  2. Well, if you have trouble with stuff, you might consider holding yourself back a grade and dedicate yourself to doing well with gr. 6 material so that you can do better and you can feel better about what you are capable of doing.

There are lots of programs out there. Shouldn't your parents be the ones deciding? I imagine they're the ones paying for the programs and overseeing it all.

  3. ask wat ur friends are doing in their regular school and improvise from dat

  4. It's not really as simple as that.  How do you learn best?  Do you prefer to just learn from text and workbooks, or do you need something more interactive like a CDRom or DVD-based curriculum?  Do you like hands-on stuff, or would you rather read or listen to your work?  Do you like the structure of doing the same type of thing every day, or do you need a lot of different activities to stay motivated?

There are so many different types of curriculum out there, it's really not possible for us to say "pick this one".  I can tell you what my 6th/7th grader is using, and maybe some of it will be helpful?

Language Arts:  BJU Press English, Handwriting, and Spelling 6 (they have all the way through 12th grade) http://www.bjupress.com/category/Textboo...

    History/Geography: TRISMS History Makers http://trisms.com/HM/learnmore.html

    Writing: IEW, included in TRISMS

Math: VideoText Algebra (Pre through Alg. 2 in the same set) http://videotext.com/homeschool.htm

Science: Apologia General and Physical Science (using both this year) https://apologia.securesites.net/store/i... and https://apologia.securesites.net/store/i...

    Spanish: SOS Secondary Spanish http://www.aop.com/sos/Subjects_Elective...

He's doing some other stuff, but this is his core curriculum.  Hopefully there's something in there that can help you :)

Don't be so hard on yourself - you're not dumb, you just likely haven't been taught in a way that made sense to you before.  You can do it, you just need to find what works for you.  Good luck, and have fun!
