Homeschooling in SC question?

Im currently homeschooling my daughter and she is in 11th grade. We are using the 3rd option to homeschool. The law says the school year must be 180 days, but what if my daughter finishes the curriculum (LifePac) in less than 180 days? Can she move on to the next grade or do I have to find more work for her to fill up the extra days?

  1. I also home school my highschooler and I have used Life Pac before.

Be sure to use lots of supplemental stuff with the Life Pac's as they really just introduce concepts in my opinion. I understand completely that she will finish earlier than 180 days but be sure to revisit the concepts after she is done with the Life Pac's.  There are a lot of tutorials on line that will allow you go through the subject step by step. Also there are places on line that you can assess her understanding of the material. Texas has released their standardized tests and Virginia has released some too.

When you feel like she truly is done, move on, or delve deeper into the study if she enjoys it.
