Homeschooling...???

i was wondering if anyone knows of a good homeschool program for me all i need is like four credits but i got into two many problems in school because of my absentice and i wasnt able to graduate now my brother wont be able to go to school either cause the school there sending us is to far and i would very much appreciate if somone who is or has been homeschooled. or whoever knows someone who hass been. thanx. any help is appreciated. someone has helped me but i dont realy get it if i was self taught u know homeschooled how exactly could i say that i finished my high school studies through homeschooling how could i prove it?

  1. I think your situation is a little different than most homeschoolers.  Most homeschoolers that I know, either put together a portfolio of all their work in high school to show colleges, or they work through some accredited homeschool program.  In your case, however, you only need 4 units.  Personally, I would contact the counselor of your previous school and ask them how you can work with them to get the 4 units.  That is NOT very much, and they should be able to work with you so that you can get the credits needed in order to graduate.  They should have some kind of independent program available to you.

    Short of that, I would get a good book on GED preparation and take that test.  

    Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great homeschooling options for high schoolers, but it seems that you only are short 4 units and you want some kind of "diploma" so I think the above are your best options.


  2. It depends on your state....there are sometimes _______(name of your state) virtual online school.... and there are teachers who give you work and you have a time limit to finish that work (i think like a week)...
