Honeymoon destinations?

Im looking for somewhere where you can get a private beach but also has an awesome club/bar scene within walking distance.

Wife and I went to Couples Sept Away Negril, although we had a hiccup with them not paying our airline flight in our all inclusiv e pagage (I paid it at the airport and they re-imbursed me and also gave 1 free night at any of their resorts in the future, would have prefered to just extend our stay a night, no go)

Very laid back, they have a dance "club"  basically one of the open air restaurants converts to a nightclub for latenight, nothing crazy, lots of good choices for food including a late night hamburger/chicken grill on the beach we hit about 2 in the morning.  Free booze (recommend the purple rains)

Suggestion, get a room with a tv, we stayed about a week and were glad we hade a tv.  the "bar" in some rooms are basically just a few pints of liquor.

Take the catamaran cruise from the hotel to pirates cove and jump off the cliff if you dare..

Cab ride to Ricks cafe...

Big suggestion, pay the extra 70 bucks or so to fly from Montego Bay (where flights land) to Negril, it was REALLY cool and added to our honeymoon greatly, the planes hold about 7 people. Our pilot coming back actually gave us a nice little tour of the island from the air.

OK, we did pretty much stay on the property chillin the whole time, you get the warnings to be careful when leaving the resort although people we spoke to who went off the resort and came back said they had a good time checkin out the local scene

people were great and hospitable... go for it,, you can have a good time..

Barbados sounds great! Lots of nice beaches but definitely has a fun night life (from what I've been told). I think everything is in walking distance as it is a very small island.
