Horrible coughing problem?

Question

So I've had a cold for about 4 days. All my symptoms are gone, except for congestion and coughing. But the coughing is really bad. Especially when I wake up in the morning. I'll just start to have a fit of it, and it gags me. I almost threw up this morning.

This happened to me once before, and lasted about a week I think..

Help me please!

Maybe its not even a cold. If the soar throat comes along with it you might possibly have mono. Or lung cancer! Thats what my mom had..she was coughing a lot. Then what did you do before? Maybe you have to just wait it out. And if things dont get better within 3-4 days I suggest you see a doctor about it. Hope this helped!!
