  1. Without tack, you shouldn't ride. Wait until you can get to the tack shop and get at LEAST a bridle and saddle pad. A saddle would be a good idea if you don't ride bareback.

    Riding in the morning and evening is best, since those times are cooler.

  2. Is tack neccessary? I ride my horses bareback without bridles or halters or anything all the time. I guess it depends on your relationship with the horse and how well it's trained.

    I would say late in the afternoon, as it'll be a bit cooler, as they said before. You could ride with a rope halter or hackamore bareback - even a rope will sustain.

  3. ride when it's cooler out... i would would maybe a blanket on the horse to make it comfortable for it u should b a good rider tho. cuz if ur used to a bridle u wont hav one...and u will hav to use urs legs A LOT to steer. GOOD LUCK!
