  1. Favorite Breed is Quarter Horse because I have owned and shown QH all my life.  I appreciate other breeds as well.

Color: Bay with a star or blaze because I think they are flashy.

Favorite Discipline - Reining - free style.  I like spins, sliding stops, slow and fast canter, figure eights and riding to creative music.

  2. I love Tennessee Walkers and Walker crosses.  I may be crossing (at some point far in the future) my young 17.1hh mare with a draft and see if I can get a gaited one.

I don't really have a favourite color.  I like the classical solids, but I think a little splash of color now and again is interesting.

I ride all english, I feel like I cannot "talk" to my horse when riding western.  That big saddle just gets in the way.  If I had a horse who's spine didn't nearly split me in half, or one that wasn't so round that I slide right off, I'd ride bare back more often than I do.

  3. I cant just say, "I love this breed because...." as every horse is different, I have ridden gentle and loving Arab's and I have ridden half CRAZY dumb son of a gun Arab's. I would have to say the breed I have had the most experience with and hold a special place in my heart would be, The Appaloosa. I like the colors, temperament and the versatility of the breed, I have ridden "good" Apps and "bad" Apps, I love all breeds and would NEVER judge a horse by it's breed. I own a TWH.

    Favorite color would be Leopard.

Favorite sport would be Endurance or Trail Riding, I also love to jump.

  4. Horse Breed? Well I think Arabians are completely gorgeous, but the ones I enjoy riding the most are Appaloosas

Fav Colour? Hmmm.... I like flashy colours like Paints and Appys....

Discipline? Western Pleasure/ Bareback riding/ Games I like to have fun with my horses

  5. N!cole,

TB's are for their endurance and they are sleek

QH's are speed and the big rear-end

    Sabrina,

My fav is QH's because they are soo fast and because my uncle is a QH jockey and i like TBs because my dad trains them as racers.

I like flea- bitten grays and red red red chestnuts.

I love barrels, team roping, and a little trippin' too.

  6. thoroughbreds because they have such a personality and they're great jumpers.

my favorite color is palomino because I think it looks so goregous

my favorite discipline is hunter/jumper because I think it's elegant and fun.

  7. dark bay with star irish tb because they have the speed and endurance for cross country... dainty gaits and strides for dressage and the agility for show jumping.

and palomino QH because they are good and sturdy horses and are very good jumpers

  8. My favorite breed is Quarter Horse because they have such beautiful bodies, and they are very versatile. And I have a QH! ♥

My favorite coat colors are bay and chestnut because they both shine in the sun. :)

My favorite discipline is Hunter show jumping because it is about you, how you look on your horse, and how you handle your horse- not just about the horse or about you... It's about the two-hearted team. And when I jump, I can fly. O:-)

    There you go! :D

  9. fav breed: arabian cause they are small and gentle!

fav color: chestnut or dark brown cause i don't know why i just do (lol)

    fav disciple: barrel racing!

  10. Fav breed is QH best all around horses

    Any color

Western I do barrels, poles, and reining

  11. the american quarter horse- they are just so gorgeous and excel and achieve at wat they do

i love sorrels, with a flaxen mane and tail, 4 socks, and a star, and a stripe/strip

i absoulutely love barrel racing, and i no mi horse loves it too, its all about speed and actually feeling a connection with ur horse

  12. Shetland ponys

They are so smart and cute, so much easier to keep and handle than full size horses.

    Bay

any riding or driving is great with a sheltland pony

  13. my fav breed is Thoroughbred cause my hrorse is tb, my fav color is black cause my horse is black (lol) and my fav disipline is equitation cause it makes me feel that if i win a blue that i won it because of my position, and that i am a good equi rider. i like hunter 2 but its mostly judged on the horse so its a little unfair

  14. Favorite breed is either a TB or a QH. I like how TB's are fast and I like their conformation, but I like the QH's endurance and personality.

I like white (gray in official "horse talk") because my horse now is white.

    I like jumping because it's so fun : )

  15. Connemara Pony: They are intelligent, good jumpers and friendly.

    Dapple Grey

Show Jumping: I'm not sure why it just is.

  16. I have three favorite breeds, and they don't have anything to do with my horse.  I love Icelandic horses, Gypsy Vanners and Fjord Horses, because they are so gentle, intelligent, and interesting looking!  They are also short and I am a fan of not falling very far.  They are all great trail horses and decent in the dressage arena.

My favorite color is a paint with englishconformationn and not too much white on the head, or a dappled grey.  I think those are just gorgeous horses and so fun to see playing in the field and under saddle!

In terms of discipline I guess my favorite thing would have to be dressage because that is the only thing I can really do with my back being so bad.  It takes so much control and you are always learning.  I used to love jumping and I absolutely love to watch eventing. Most of my horsey friends are eventers.  Its not really discipline, but my favorite thing to do with my horse is natural horsemanship.  I love the connection it gives us and I love how amazing the difference in her is under saddle since I started it.  I do Parelli work mostly, but I am always open to throw in other peoples ideas.  I also love trail riding because it is such an amazing way to see the land and bond with your horse.  Plus there is nothing like opening up into a nice gallop in an open field or beach!

Horses are amazing and there is nothing like riding them, no matter what color, breed disciplineine, and believe me, I have tried A LOT.

Oh by the way, I ride a pony mix with what we think is some Rocky Mountain horse, welsh cob and POA in her.  She is a super star and is Chocolate Palomino which is a wonderful color.

EDIT: A great quote about Gypsies: "Gypsy gold does not glitter and c***k, it gleams in the sun and neighs in the dark"

  17. I love an Appendix QH because you get the loyalty, bone, and rear end of a QH and the speed, endurance, and height of a TB.

I love deep dark bays with long solid black socks and little or no white

I love my sorrel because he has such nice markings on his face and one white sock

But chesnuts can look very flashy when they have a beautiful mane and tail to go with it.

I love western - not your typical western riding - but barrel racing, team roping, and just riding a working cow horse. They have such quick and catty movements and yet somehow they all flow together + I think it shows the horses true physical abilities.
