Hot caluclate the epf contribution?

IAM EMPLYEER IHAVA 20 NOS EMPLYEES WORKING IN OURHANDER HOW MUCH AMOUNT TO PAY THE EPF EACH PERSON

better go to epf office,for a small amount epf office employee will tell you all that is to be done and even set it up for you or at least guide you to a suitable person.

just saying 20 people work for you and how much amount is to be paid  for each is not practilcle especially on line

do not fall in the traps of crooks though

EPF contributions is from two sides

1. Employer

2. Employee

A percentage ranging from 8 - 12 % must be choosen.

A fixed percentage of (suppose 8%) must be  deducted from employees salary.

Similarly the employer must contribute from his funds an equal percentage or higher every month.

The collected amount must be deposited every month within the due date to the fund in a prescribed PF challans.
