Whats a good website to find out what age you have to be to rent a hotel room in each state?

Im sure nobody wants to list all 50 states on there, but if theres a good website, even with foreign countries or whatever, itd be much appreciated.

  1. all you need is a credit card, so you have to be 18

  2. Even if a state has the legal age of 18, a hotel chain's corporate headquarters may choose a policy of 21 and older only. So even if you get a list of state laws, it may not help you out.

  3. Even if a state has a particular minimum age, each hotel can specify its own policy (lower age), if they desire.

So, for instance, if the minimum age to book a room in South Carolina is 18, hotels located in the state can still set their policy at 21.

Besides, I don't know of any states that set the "minimum age to book".

I know of no site/database that lists the minimum age for each individual hotel...

So -- if you're looking for a place to stay, you need to check the reservation policies very carefully for each hotel to find out what their min-age is.

  4. my dad bought a hotel room for me and my friend and i was 14 in Indiana

so guess u need money and at be east 14
