Hotel in central Paris.?

Would like to ask which zone is near central Paris with signseeing, and is safer to stay ( beta not too exspensive ), SAFE is most important. many tks!!

Go to Google and type in Hotels Gare Du Nord. You will get a list as long as your arm, from the very expensive to the quite basic. Some sites even have customer reviews so you get a good idea of which hotels to steer clear  of!

The gare Du Nord is in central Paris and is where Eurostar trains terminate. Most sightseeing attractions are within easy reach from this area.

Hotel Flora near Gare du Nord.  hotel is fairly cheap but clean and is near to Metro.

Paris is a generally safe city and anwhere in the central arrondissements (1-8) will be quite safe. In Paris the areas of poverty and high crime are in the surrounding suburban areas in which the government warehouse the poor in rather souless public housing projects.
