Hotel recommendation - visiting LA soon?

Question

Will be visiting LA in october with 2 kids. We will be visiting Disneyland, Hollywood, beaches (is the weather good for a beach in Oct??)

What area is neutral to stay at? Looking for an economy hotel with free parking and breakfast:) Helps a lot when going with kids.

go on one of the hotels sites.  like expedia, or hotels.com and look in the area that you are going to stay at.  Also I wouldn't go to the beach in October.  Disney and hollywood are not that close so if you stay near disney. then maybe hollywood could be a day trip.  hope you have fun.  good luck p.s. I would go to the beaches anyway even if your not going to swim in that cold water.  santa monica pier and venice beach are fun.
