House from 1932?

okay so my parents are thinking about moving to the country . We found a house , but it looks really bad . My parents want to fix it up. The house was build in 1932 . SO MY QUESTION IS WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT HOUSES THAT WERE BUILD IN 1932 ????

All the piping may have to be changed because they used galvanized pipes and they clog up over a period of time and can not be fixed only changed check for lead in the paint and asbestous around the pipes Good Luck

You should have a complete home inspection conducted; preferably by someone who specializes in older homes. construction methods were very different then, as were building codes. things to look out for are outdated electrical systems, lack of insulation that will eat your energy dollar, lead paint, termite damage, and asbestos.
