Hi, I work p/t and get some Housing Benefit (HB), I also receive Disability Living Allowance (DLA), my landlord has just increased the rent and I have told the HB people all this, will getting DLA affect how much rent help I get or is DLA nothing to do with it?

Thanks in advance.

  1. DLA is not means tested.

  2. dla has nothing to do with it!

  3. Your Disability Allowance is not calculated

in any housing benefit and also not taxable.

The DLA Will adjust your rent and poll tax

to stay at the same amount to what you

are all ready pay, just let them know of

    the increase to make sure.
