why is kkbq (houston 92.9) going off air starting tomorrow?

it is also known as the "93 Q"

  1. Didn't know it was but I quit listening years ago because all they ever talked about was how many commercials the other country station played.  To me, that’s the totally wrong approach to win over an audience.


  2. Some radio folks I know there believe it's just a stunt.

    But no one is 100% certain.

  3. That is what I am trying to find out myself. I LOVE THIS STATION. It daoes however say a new name and station so maybe all of the rest will be the same. I guess we will have to wait and see.
