How 'bout dem Redskins!

Question

did anyone see the game last night. i know it's only pre-season, but i must say those rookies and some veterans did a great job! Tell me what do you think. And please be kind....thanx...mwa

I don't take away much from the 1st preseason games, but I must say I was impressed by rookie QB Colt Brennan if nothing else.

Colt might end up being another case of a guy who looked unimpressive in the scouting combine, plummeted in the draft etc., but turns out to be one h**l of a football player when he's actually on the field playing the real game.

d**n straight, but I'm not going to read too much into it. I love my Skins, but you can never take too much stock into preseason. Plus they were more up for it because of Green and Monk being there. I'm less optimistic about opening the season up in the Meadowlands on national TV.

I thought the Redskins looked really good out there. Particularly all of the Quarterbacks. Jason Campbell, Todd Collins and Colt Brennan all did a fantastic job! I can't wait to see what they do in the future. =]

No.. its not even pre-season is like just a scrimmage..... but at least now we know one thing..the redskins back-ups are better than the colts back-ups!

Even though it was only a pre-season game i have to say they did look impressive.The Nfc east looks like a monster division this year.

I too usually get excited to see my team in the first pre-season game of the year.

However, I would they do away with two weeks of the pre-season and then get it on for real.

preseason is a waste of time, i like how you are all excited and indy didn't even play peyton, marvin or reggie, and used addai on only a couple snaps...

yes, i saw it.   I know everybody will say it was just preseason and blah blah alot of the Colts stars weren't in there but the redskins looked good.    I would have a lot more confidence in their QB back-ups then I would in the colts....The colts backups weren't that impressive...But i must say I was most impressed with....    Colt Brennan...... who I've been following his career at Hawaii... and he looked fanastic.    Madden was right there was a different feel when he was out there.  He looked comfortable for a NFL rookie and put his passes on the money.  Plus i love the h**l out of mobile QBs....I'll be keeping an eye on your skins...Plus man you guys now have Jason Taylor...how cool is that......Hes awesome...Good luck!!!

It was Nice Game But Its Only Pre-Season Nothing Matter Now, except Family Night at Lambeau Field, You see In November and December then You can talk about the Skins Kicking some *** but not in August.

i was there and i got ticked when fat *** Lorenzo on the colts threw that interception the redskins did pretty good but they would of lost if manning wasn't injured

The Redskins looked good last night considering the had a lot of starters out too. The backups performed well. Will be nice to have good depth at all positions. I hope they can keep working on the offense and gain some confidence leading into the season opener.

They have 4 more pre season games before beating the Giants in the season opener.
