How's an MRI scan like? ?

Are MRI scans really that scary?

I have to take one for my ear(s) tomorrow and if my ear is already damaged, I think that they are just going to damage it even further with the booming sounds.

Hahaha.

I am only 15.

its really small; so i hope you aren't claustrophobic haha. it does make loud sounds,but its not that bad.i think they gave me something to put over my ears. ull be ok i had one when i was 14.

o   p.s if you have metal on your bra you have to take that off.

They will give you ear protection .. they are not that loud once you have all the 'gear' on.  They wouldn't do the procedure if it were going to make your ears worse.

I've had a brain MRI, an upper spine MRI, and a liver MRI within the past few weeks .. they are not that bad.

I've had an MRI scan once and they aren't that bad. The Radiographer that does the MRI scan will give you some ear phones or something to block some of the noise. I'm sure they wouldn't do the scan if it was going to cause you more problems.
