How's mail delivery ?

How's mail delivery in your area ?

Here in Chicago it SUCKS !

Sometimes my block doesn't get mail for like 5 consecutive days !

One time the mail was delivered on a SUNDAY !!

and in Evergreen Pk. IL. One mail carrier was caught delivering mail at 2 A.M. w/one of those hats that miners use with the light in front !

And I had ordered something from Ebay which was EXPRESS and as I was tracking the package it SAT AT THE POST OFFICE FOR A FULL 28 days and the package was FINALLY delivered on day 30 when I should have gotten it in less than a week !

So what's your beef w/the USPS ??

I answered a mail question and got a BA you ought to read it. Anyway, it's improved somewhat and getting better slowly(fingers crossed). We get other people's mail from time to time. Our mail comes late in the afternoon and sometimes after 5:30pm on Saturdays. We go to another town to mail our stuff.LOL

Mail in this town is pretty bad.  It's mis-delivered alot and sometimes is returned to sender.  The problem seems to depend upon the local post office and does not appear to be a overall USPS mail delivery problem.

Sorry - maybe in Pittsburgh the postal workers actually work hard.  Our mail is always delivered well and on time.  I have friends and neighbors that work for the postal service and they are consciencous about their jobs.  They still have pride to wear the uniform!  Our local branch manager goes out of his way to make sure his "shop" is full-service too.
