I was informed (by a local congoleum dealer) that I could lay a new piece of congoleum down on top of my old linoleum withough gluing into place. The type of congoleum I purchased is the type they say requires no glue. I was clumbsy with a sharp edge on my appliance and ripped a large hole in the center of the kitchen. Here is my question. Can you give me an idea of how you would fix this kind of tear? Try to cut a new piece and glue into the new hole?
