How Do 7 Year Olds Act?

Question

i am doing a drama Exam in a few weeks and i am 14 years oldd

in my act i have to play a 7 year old girl in an orphanage

there is also a 15 y.o , a 14y.o and a 12y.o

and i am slightly taller than all of themm

but i am trying to perfect my character so how can i make myself look younger

my character has to be very vulnerable and Cute...

how can i make myself look cute, younger etc.

any props?

7 year olds don't have hormones yet. There are kind of snoty. They all wase want to be boss. Put on a little bit of blush on for color. And props are I gess TOYS! All kids love toys. Mabe a tedy bear or a stuffed anamail. But small but not to small. Hope your peformince is a hit but most importently, have lods of fun! from the acting geek.

that age is the wonderfull years of becoming BOSSY! and telling people what to do! They act like MOM they want to bE mom! think like a kid act like a bossy mommy...lol! My daughter  LOVED to wear tights that go to the ankle and skirts SHE HATED PIGTALES! She likes her hair WILD and she likes to do it herr self so it is usally in a messy ponytail...with mixed matched clips on the sides and she loves her highheeld boots....shoes are a BIG deal to her SHE AHATes teenis shoes. TALK with a younger voice but with bossy snotty attitide with your hands crossed or on your hips...and dont forget TO POUT! and MOUTH OFF ,,,lol!

i would say try hard have fun and be creative.

try talking with a lisp, and putting makeup on yrself, such as eyesahdow applied dodgily. then you will look like a kid going through her moms makeup drawer (or a adult who can't use makeup!). Maybe get a wig that is a very light blond and wear flat shoes. have a teddybear or small doll poking out of your pocket, that always helps.

7 year old girls have magical properties.  They may become fairies or vampires, depending on their personalities.  They find magical artifacts.  Since the girl is in an orphanage, she'll need some magical object or imaginary friend to help her cope.  It could be anything; a pebble, a doll, a broken piece of jewelry, a nut shell.  

This magical perspective doesn't hinder them from dealing with reality at all.  They don't talk about it except with somebody they can trust, because they find out that some kids will make fun of them.  They often have girl friend that they can talk about their magical properties with.
