Question:

How To Get Internet On PSP?

I know how most people get it. Go to infrastructure mode and then scan but that doesn't work for me and I want to know how else I could get internet? I do have Wireless internet and a router, but when I go to scan it says "No access points were detected. Do you want to try again? Does that just mean I have no more room for another internet connection? I only have two computers so there should be enough room. Anyways, do I even have a chance to get internet on my PSP?

  1. Okay if u have a wireless router and ur near it...Do exactly like before and scan for networks...look for yours and if you router is password protected just type it in and ur on...If u cant find ur router that means ur too far from it. And remember u cant connect to password connected connections only open ones..and the fact that u can scan means u do have the wi-fi switch on

  2. check and see if your computer has a firewall if so turn it off. Also get closer to your router the closer you are the better the signal.

  3. make sure the wifi switch on the side is on

  4. yea but if your router has a wep key or other stuff like that u need 2 look for it on the router

  5. maybe your router has a wireless firewall and wont let anything see it (theory)

usually you need a wep key ( which you can find on the router's main page)

and i took me a long time to get my friends psp to connect to my router and ps3

but that was a while ago, i dont remember much, i think your not suppose to be looking for an access point but something else.

thats all i know, sorry, i hope it helps a bit

  6. On the side of your PSP there is a WLAN switch. Make sure that WLAN switch is turned on.
