How are Dinner Cruises in California?

Question

If you've been on one of the dinner cruises on one of those fancy yatchs in CA please let me know how the experience was and if it was worth the money and also where the cruise was taken please. (ex: san diego, newport beach, marina del mar etc.)

I've only been on the one out of SF on the hornblower yacht. Is was a lot of fun, but the food was average, not great, but not bad. They had a band and dancing and drinks on board. So that's about it.
