How are Raleigh Grand Prix bikes?

I just saw a craigslist ad for a Raleigh Grand Prix. Supposedly a 2006 for $400. I want to know if these bikes are good/decent for a non hard core biker and also if that's a good price for it.

Raleigh is a decent bicycle (used to be a HUGE brand in the day) for a decent price.  The 2008 models are $850+ new (discounted)

If it's in good shape I'd say go for it!

Like you other question if in great shape it's worth buying. Again the frame is very small for someone < 5-3 or so. It's an entry level performance bike. So if you don't want a racing geometery bike you should pass on it.
