we know that history is written by the victors, but so is the media. Our media is propaganda to others whilst their media is propaganda to us.

  1. as soon as you realise that ALL news is censored, then you can realise where their bias lays.

you know a politicians lying coz his lips are moving, but how so with a newspaper article?

coz murdoch is as twisted as a person can get, and have that much power... he dictates what is and what is NOT going to appear on his network.

however; these days the power weiled by the media moguls is a bit of a damp squib... we have the internet, and we can correlate our own story, and work out who is telling porkies...

and even though the USA media treats its citizens like muppets, here in England, the land of hope and glory we have the BBC... ok, so its still state censored, but its as unbiased as you can get, in a world where everyone takes sides, and has an opinion.

  2. People tend to judge according to whether the media matches their own viewpoint.

For instance, to cite an extreme example, there are people in the USA who think that Fox News offers a balanced picture of world affairs.

  3. all opinions are biased, even yours and mine

its just that some are more biased than others

cough cough daily mail cough cough

  4. Unbiased, no such thing it took them now to bother to find out such things in fact as what are these Internet restrictions that China got the agreement for with the IOC.  Are all these journalists trying to tell us that they never read the thing till last night?  Who are they Brian Cowen who never read the Lisbon Treaty up weeks before the Irish referendum on Lisbon.

  5. This is when critical thinking on your part comes in. Ask questions. Try to see another side. You can't just take a single story and think that is all you need to know. The quality is down all over because of our emphasis on speed and convenience.

edit: You need to consider the writer and the source. What is the writer's background? What other stories have they done? There is a lot to take in. All stories are not 100% accurate so you need to consider that as well.

  6. We can't.

    ... Can we?! O: =]

    -x-

  7. you cant.but keep your ears open for the story as they develope.

  8. the media is an arm of the ZOG. it is all corrupt.

  9. The US and the Western World’s media is biased because the media is controlled by groups with very special agendas.

I live in Switzerland and often follow news stories of interest – mostly in the English language. I do that by visiting online newspapers worldwide.

If you are interested in a particular story from some place you can often see the bias each country puts on what happened and on the language used.

And it is not only the incidents that are reported but also events that are blocked, i.e. NOT reported.

For instance, recently two men were accused and convicted of freedom on speech offences in Britain. While on bail they made an escape by catching a ferry from England to Ireland and from there they took a flight to Los Angeles USA. On landing in LA they applied for POLITICAL ASYLUM. Their idea was that the First Amendment would protect them.

Now like British people skip bail and flee to the US and apply for political asylum every day ???? Yeah, so for the US media it’s no big story? Like h**l !! This is a case of the US media being CONTROLLED centrally by the news agencies.  I have been checking and even LOCAL media in LA have not touched the story.

Whether this is also something to do with the fact that the Western World’s media is largely Jewish owned is possibly part of the story. I think so but there may well be other reasons.

  10. it pretty biased, I'd say very biased actually, the most biased thing on earth. and

  11. All media outlets decide what news they want to push on to the viewers depending on entertainment value. For example, the endless Caylee Anthony debacle where any time she makes a phone call from jail it makes the news as the most important breaking news of the century.

Unfortunately, living in Orlando, I get news from this pathological lying jackass every day as local news, in national news and international news.

  12. media regulators ensure that its not
