How can I be respected more?

What can I do to get respect from everyone? What traits should I show, what would my appearance be, what would I say...?

You can act respectul to others, and they will act respectful to you. Stand up for yourself and be bold.

Act nice also and don't try to get in people's business. You would say stuff like a regular person would. Act like a friend (unless you absolutely can't).

There are steps you should take to be respected.

Be appreciative of others

Speak gently and try to listen to peoples opinion

Do not be casual and show where you stand when it comes to an important issue

Remember names of peoples you have met and show that you care for interpersonal relationship.

Know where you spend your time because it is indicative of who you are.

Smile when it is important and keep your composure.

To get respect I am respectful to others, treat people how you would like to be treated.

I am not sure if you will like my answer or not, but be yourself.  People will have to learn to respect you no matter who you are and what your responsibilities are.  People will see who you are and how you work, and if they apreciate you, they will respect you.
