How can I fix my camera??

Ok this piece http://flickr.com/photos/carrierox4ever13/2751593560/in/photostream/ but it doesn't just snap back on we have tried to put it back on and now my camera is all scrached up. Will our warentee cover getting it fixed?? If now how much would it cost to get it fixed?? Thanks!!

Ok First of all You really do not need that piece anyway. It is simply to help keep the sunlight out when you are looking through the view finder, and to keep you from rubbing up against it. Second, if you camera is still under warranty, is should be covered, but you may want to make some calls because you could be without your camera for up to 4 weeks. A far as cost, I have no idea, all warranties vary. It depends on how long you can go without it. You may be able to take a tooth pick or q tip and super glue it on yourself, if you really feel that you need that part

Just glue it back on, rubber cement works well. I had my own camera repair business for many years,
