  1. There are a lot of ways to help the environment.  Number one on my list is don't use bottled water.  The most popular brands are bottled tap water ( from Coca Cola and Pepsi) and of the 30 million or so bottles produced a year, a mere 7% of them are recycled.  Recycle your plastics, paper, cardboard, and household metal.  Your community probably has a program already set up.  Change out your light bulbs to compact  flourescents.  Wash your clothing in cold water, and turn off water while you brush your teeth and shave.  Get a low flow waterhead for your shower-- your water utility might give you one for free, so ask. Don't buy unnecessary stuff, reuse your grocery bags or buy the reuseable ones, and don't throw away stuff that someone can use-- donate it to Good Will or the Salvation Army or Freecycle it.  Good Luck on your quest to become greener!

  4. buy a huge 4x4 the more co2 the better. don't recycle. waste water. keep lights and heating on. do all this and the enviroment will be healthier hope i helped.

  5. Go vegetarian! Don't fly in planes,jets!

  6. Get one of those recyclables bins and put anything that can be recycled (soup cans, juice bottles, etc) in them, and put them out whenever the recycling truck makes its routes. Don't use unnecessary energy. Turn off all lights if you leave a room with no intention of returning anytime soon. Same with TVs, and put computers on sleep mode if you aren't using them. It takes less energy to leave a computer on all day on sleep mode than to keep turning it on and off. Don't use lights during the day. Buy more energy efficient appliances. If you have lots of extra paper, reuse it for scrap paper. And if you need to package something to mail, fill the box with shredded paper instead of a bunch of Styrofoam and bubble wrap. Don't buy bottled water. Buy those hard plastic reusable water bottles if you want to bring water with you. If you like cold water, fill old juice containers with tap water and keep it in the refrigerator. Only use the washer and dryer for a full load, and use the lowest setting you can without damaging any clothing items. Buy fuel efficient cars, or a hybrid if you can afford it. Try to buy items made from recycled materials.

I think I just exhausted my mind to write this answer.

  7. don't take baths..and try taking shorter showers. Don't leave the water running.. (like when shaving, brushing your teeth, etc.)

    Recycle anything you can.

Write on the backs of pages, when you print , print on both sides. Save bended pages for scrap.

Try to plant trees or plants for a more oxygen-rich environment.

Don't litter! Clean up litter if you can.

Switch off the light when you don't need it.  Open the shades to let in natural light in the daytime instead.

Buy a hybrid car, one that runs on electricity instead of gas. If you drive a regular car, then try to walk if the distance is not far. You will do your body good too cuz it's exercise!

That's all I can think of for now. Good luck!
