What are good exercises at home to loose weight fast? In about 3 weeks top? What should I cut my calories down to a day? What are good exercises for your thighs and butt?

  1. Instead of shedding 15 pounds, you should try adding 15 pounds of muscle.  Remember muscle burns more calories than fat, so your body will become much more shapely.  If you work out with weights for an hour a day 3-5 days a week, then you can maintain the same caloric intake that you are used to.  You will find yourself craving protein rather than ice cream.

    I speak for the majority of guys when I say a toned figure is much more attractive than a stick figure.

    I would suggest push-ups, pull-ups, crunches, squats and lunges.  You can do all of these from home.  

    It won't happen in 3 weeks, no matter what anyone here tells you, but if you stay with it, it will be the best thing you have ever done for your body.


  2. Put every thing you eat in a blender! My cousin broke her jaw and she had to be on a liquid diet and she lost so much weight. Could hurt to try :P

  3. Go up and down the steps frequently or use a stepper. Go to the park in the morning and jog. Buy a skipping rope and use that in the park as well. Don't eat before you do this exercise otherwise you'll only be burning calories instead of fat. Without eating you can actually burn the fat from the day before etc. Jog a lap then take a break. Skip 100 times then take a break.  

  4. For fast weight loss you need to detoxify and use a diuretic.  The exercise for thighs and butt would be holding on to a chair and pretending to sit down.  When you feel a burn in your thighs, stop and hold for a count of 10.  Slowly stand and do again for ten times.

    Lay flat on the floor and raise legs to about 12 inches from the floor.  Hold for a count of 10 and then spread legs apart holding them off of the floor.  Hold them in that position for a count of 10 also, put your feet together again and do this 10 times.  Good luck..........also cut down food portions and eat sensibly, do not skip on meals.

  5. I've been researching this for a long time.  (I also happen to be anorexic but I am not "in support" of that lifestyle.)

    Recently I tried a good grade of Hoodia to control my appetite & it works well as long as you drink enough water.

    You should not cut your calories per day less than 1500.  As far as what to eat, protein should be the biggest part of your diet (esp if you are working out/exercising).  Next would be veggies, then fruits.  If at all possible, keep carbs very limited & when you do eat them, make sure they are complex carbs (whole grains).  You should not eat anything "white" (bread, rice, potatoes, etc.)

    Sorry I can't help much with the exercise except to say that walking is still considered one of the best & will add muscle to your legs & possibly your butt as well.

    naw... okay good exersices are running up and down the stairs

    a. its good cardio and

    b. your also toning your muscles from thighs gluts and hips

    also try dieting pills theyre a real big help but make sure that when your done using them you keep watching your weight

    um about 1800 if your a girl or 1500 to be the least

    stay away from breads!!! pasta cereal

    good exercises for but or thighs are squats or lunges  

    and when you squeeze your butt then let go do it every where and anywhere

  8. For your body to actually survive you need at least 1200 calories a day-anything above that you exercise to lose. Cardio exercise is your best bet. Try sticking to around 1400 calories and do around 30 minutes of cardio a day. Dance around the house for half an hour-it's what I do! If your heart is thumping and your sweating then youre doing it enough.

    However, expecting to lose 15 pounds in 3 weeks is a VERY high target. To lose weight healthily you are looking at losing 1-2 pounds a week. You might drop more in the first week as your body gets used to your new diet but then it will settle.

You can lose 15lb in 3 weeks but I guarantee you will end up with reduced fitness levels, less muscle, and a body composition that will eventually lead to weight gain in excess of the 15lb you lost. Lose 2lb per week for 7/8 weeks. Far more manageable, you don't have to starve yourself, your body will function normally, you will lose fat rather than muscle and you don't have to exercise 24/7. Cut 500 calories out of your current diet starting with the more obvious places; snacks, especially snacks you may eat after your afternoon meal. Drink more water so that your kidneys have enough water to do their job, which frees up your liver to convert the fat you are going to be using during exercise into energy. As for the exercise, 30-40 mins aerobic exercise 6 days a week; jogging, cycling, swimming, rowing. For 2 or 3 days out of the week lift weights, just some light dumbells, between 2-5 kg, whichever you think you can lift upto 20 times. Find some weight lifting exercises for your biceps, triceps, chest, shoulder and back. Also include sit ups in your weight lifting routine and leg exercises such as squats and lunges. Do these anaerobic exercises 2 or 3 times a week but never two days in a row. Fit it in so that you have one day of complete rest per week. The reason for this anaerobic exercise is to maintain or maybe even build a little bit of muscle so that your metabolism does not drop.

    Muscle burns 50 calories per days just existing, losing too much weight too fast will cause your body to digest increasingly more muscle. If you lose the 15lb in 3 weeks it may easily be 5lb of fat, but 10lb of muscle. That would mean 500 calories a day that you are burning naurally right now will instead be stored in your body as fat. That is a weight gain of 2lb per week. That weight you lost in 3 weeks will be back again in 7 more weeks, and it wont stop their, you keep gaining.
