How can I make money? (FAST)?

Question

I need to make money to buy a dell laptop, but I am 13 years old and i can't find a job. I really don't want to do a paper round. I also have to save money for my trip to Paris next year. Any ideas on how to make A LOT of money FAST?

When I was your age, the best advice I got as far earning money was to be willing to do those jobs that other people really didn't want to do or couldn't do.  Some of them actually paid quite well.  This could be anything from running errands for the elderly or for those who are just too busy, to cleaning out garages or gutters.  You'd be surprised at how much you can earn every day.  Just sit down and write out some of the things you could do.  The library has books that could help you out with that.  And before I forget....news of a good, reliable worker travels fast!  You may find yourself having to turn away potential customers because you're so booked up!

At your age, you should check into babysitting, petsitting, mowing lawns, helping clean houses.  A lot of older people would be thrilled to pay you to help them out with chores around the house or yard work.  Just be kind and don't charge them an arm and a leg, cuz we'll be old one day too!

And the feeling you get from helping someone is SO good!

baby sit, dog sit, offer to walk dogs, garage sale, mow lawns, sell lemonade, clean houses,clean garages,pull weeds,ebay, a dishwasher at a restaurant(some do hire), paper route,wash inside and clean outside of cars, some fast food places hire, make crafts and sell them house to house.

There are many opportunities, just find something you like to do and go from there. Im 14 and I started trying to make money a few months ago. I like to excercise, so I decided to mow lawns for neighbors(its not neccessarily something that I liKe to do though) But I do like to sell things, and I often do garage sales, and usually have a lemonade stand as well. Just find something you like and work hard at it, if you work hard you will do well BTW i just made my first thousand, and I now have around 1,400 dollars. Good Luck!
