  1. i read somewhere that it takes the average human being 17 tries to memorize something, so try to repeat them all 17 times . . . . . but if not a song really really helps or at least play a tune in the background while naming them

  2. Flash cards....memorize a row at a time just by looking at the periodic table for 5-10 minutes every hour. Look at the first 10 elements then flip the periodic table you have over and repeat the elements in the order they come....do this over and over. Eventually your brain will make a picture of the periodic table with the elements filled in their respective positions.

Try nemonics or making up a sentence you think will be funny for the transition metals.

  3. well as lame as this sounds i recorded my self saying them with a song in the background and listened to it when i was sleeping and forgot how incredibly lame it was then you asked this question ........ :( damnet

  4. make a song out of the first letter of the elements =P and then u just keep playing it...playing it..playing it

or you can try relating the atomic number to the elements like say...for the first two elements its....H1, B2, etcetc

  5. Buy a recorder, recorder yourself and listen to it over and over. it will stick in your brain just like a music.

  6. i had to do that too.

    i memorized a song.

    you should do the same.
