How can I study better ?

How do I study better ....

I have thousands of books lying on my table ....

looking at them makes me feel sick .

how do I study ?

I can't do any practicals or any stuff like that , so what's the best to concentrate and study the book ?

Having thousands of books piled up in front of you is not going to help anything.  It'll just get you scared and panicked and unable to do anything productive.  I would suggest picking one at a time and then looking through the index for something that looks interesting and saying "Well inverse trigonometric functions sound like they could use a little work."  Then spend an hour or so doing as many questions as you can from that exercise.  

After an hour or so you should stand up, jump up and down on the spot, open the window for some fresh air or something and then sit back down, pick something else...say integration or whatever, and then spend the next hour doing those exercises.  

Tick the exercises off in your text book as you do them.  And tick the chapters of in the index of the textbook as you complete all the exercises within them.  This gives you a sense of accomplishment and is a good way to track what you have and haven't yet done.

Just do it, and reward yourself at the end, with... ooh! An ice-cream bar. That will make you want to do it. =D

Mark or highlight imp points ... and memorize the things you need ! take breaks too !

The best way ...

Is make your study are peaceful...came and quiet .

You can use some soothing lavender oil or aromas for a good smells



Use a highlighter and mark your main material .

This really helps you to keep yourself on track .

and it doesn't make your mind go wander...

(that's what usually happens)

Make sure you get a source of fresh air .

It helps you to keep yourself fresh ....

If you want to study at night keep some snacks by your side so you

could much into them ...

and prevent yourself from falling into sleep.

Keep a record of where you are in the book and memorize that page .

The best way is to relieve tension and keep your mind cool and

slowly grasp in with full concentration

and taking about concentration,  Try out some yoga ...

i would recommend u first search the index and mark out the chapters u r confident about then read  the other chapters one by one and note down the important points then u all u have to do is go over the important points again and again till u get it right!

I have exactly the same problem. What I do is get some paper and make my own revision book to read just before the exam. Just read through the revision book one section at a time and write down the important stuff in bullet point form, filter out the cr*p you don't need. I also like to make mine look nice and draw flowers and stuff round it coz I'm sad like that.

study in a place u likeit...play soft music or any kind of music u likeit or simply do something entertaining while u re studying...goodluck
