Question:

How can i refuel and rest?

I am playing in a tennis tournament and i just won my first match. I am playing another match in about 2 hours. I will obviously drink a good amount of water/gatorade. What else can i do?

  1. you can playin with another style

    and drinks:wather is good for thirsty but after wather and thirsty a juice for example orange or apple juice are good


  2. Bananas are full of energy and will not fill up you stomach with too much liquid; also how about glucose tablets or energy bars. Do keep drinking during the match though and GOOD LUCK!!

  3. m********e.  It will help you relax so you won't feel as nervous in the coming rounds.  

  4. This is one time where it is okay to intake simple sugars. I prefer fruit. A banana or two would actuallty be a perfect compliment to a sports drink that contains sodium. You will balance your electrolytes as well as replace the glucogen in your muscles for peak performance. Do the same when you are done with your second match then eat a decent sized meal with complex carbs from whole grain breads, rices or pasta and a lean protein source such as chicken, tuna or lean red meat.
