Do what we all did.

Go to the nearest poolroom, drop your ID down for a rack of balls, pluck a stick off the wall, find a table way-way in the back corner (you don't want the hustlers coming around yet), throw the balls onto the table and (and this is the hard part) you practice.

You practice, and you practice some more.

And when you get to the point when you think you're ready to gamble, try it. But not for much. Because when you loose yo'money, go back to the table and practice some more.

Can't say it any plainer then that.
