Illegals are so racist. What if you are a non-Latino in the country illegally? Remember, according to this group, not all illegals are latino/mexican. And yet they offer services only in Spanish. Can a Norwegian illegal receive the same services? No, because our country isnt spammed with millions of illegals from Norway.

To sum up, thay can be blamed completely. And an amnesty would be defeated in Congress long before it got to the desk of the current chucklehead prez, whoever he may be.

They are to blame, they should not be coming here period!!! They definitely should not be allowed an ITIN number!!! Yes they are paying some taxes with their fake and stolen social security numbers and yes they are filing taxes, the part the article and you forgot to mention as since these people are usually lower income, they are getting the taxes they pay in back plus more off American taxpayers by claiming the earned income credit. They are receiving back billions they do not deserve. When caught to be deported these leeches should have to pay every penny back and send them to sheriff Joe's prison. Then deport them with a permanent ban!!! You commit the crime, you are to blame.

They are using both ITIN and stolen social security numbers. That is why the tax system has the earned income credit, it is for American Citizens with low income. Their are way more leeching of the tax system than end up paying taxes in, that is for sure.

Illegals are to blame, why do they not put this much effort into changing their own country and get the **** out of ours!!!!!

We don't even have control of the IRS.  They are their own entity.  They will even get drug dealers who don't pay taxes on illegal drugs.  It doesn't matter if something is legal or illegal, the IRS is there.

Thank you for sharing the article. Everything that was said in the article was true. Most of the illegal immigrants I know (they didn't cross any border by the way) pay taxes, without even hoping of getting any refund. They follow rules like most Americans do, in the hopes of proving to people and to themselves that they are worthy of getting a GC.

I'd say the blame is on the system. If only the government has a good selection system, wherein they give chance to people who has a good educational background, can speak English, hardworker, and is a law abider, not only the number of "illegals" will be cut in half, nobody, with a sound state of mind, will overstay or cross the border.

Nobody wants to be in a place where it is unsafe, or where you're being frowned upon.

ok i accept than i read half of the article but what i read so far only confirmed what i already knew and i just wonder how some officials from the government have the nerve to even question whether or not the undocumented do have rights in the USA . to me it does seems as double standards and i know than not long ago the head of the IRS department affirmed than the government does not care whether or not u are legally in the USA , they do still want ur money .

about some answers i am reading here yes many of them are low income but when u give them some of the money ( the IRS never gives all the money back ) back they put into the system that money goes and creates opportunities to others once they get to re-spend that money and to pay Taxes once again when they buy any given product .

.... plus i would like to mention than some fail to understand than when the undocumented arrive they also become costumers therefor if they were removed we too would lost a significant number of costumers which by the way are potential buyers of homes and potential users or airplanes , i know both of this sectors are having problems . anyways the undocumented do not steal anyone's job they create jobs because of their presence in the USA , as simple as that , plus any problems with them using any SS they should not be using would be solved by legalizing them and or encourage every undocumented to get ITINs  with a written promise in the USA law than they will never release any of that info to the INS or to anyone who may affect them for they being undocumented .

It shows that the system is completely broken.  The federal government complains about cities that harbor illegals but this shows that the federal government really doesn't care about them being here as long as illegals give them a cut.  

The illegals are not blameless.  They still came here illegally and they have still broken the laws of this country.
