How can recycling benefit people directly?

Im doing a persuasive paper on the benefits of recycling. sources would be nice because im having a hard time finding some. thanks

If it makes 'you' feel better when recycling it has an immediate benifit. You are doing something constructive, feeling positive doing that, accomplishing something right now. The rest are side benifits.

First of all, lets say you are going camping but you don't know if there is going to be any bathrooms around or you need to clean a cut.    Take a milk jug and put water in it.  Next get string and a nail.  Tie the string to the milk jug and to the nail.  Then poke the nail through the milk jug.  This is a quick and easy way of recycling and you have for later use.

I collected alluminum cans froim friends and hit the Army base dumpsters, the NCO Club, And Offciers Club on post, I also hit every bar in town and set up my cans.

I collected all the money in three months.

If you want  something bad enough there's money all over the  place and I mean I collected Copper too.

Recycling is the last resort.  Reduce, reuse, recycle.
