How can teen get a job???

Question

hey! i'm 15 and i am looking for job but i don't know many places where to ask for it! i live in London i can work in oxford street it's near my school and barkingside, gants hill, hainault and near these areas too! but i need some job where i will get paid and not the minimum if it's possible! and how do i ask for job??? what should i bring??? should i call them?? or go there and ask??? and what places should i look at??? and how much i can get paid??? and tell as much details please! i would like answer as something from your own experience! or your friends or family experince!

Try going into a couple of places such as shops, libraries or cafes, introduce yourself and ask if they have any part time job vacancies. Dress reasonably well (i.e. smartish trousers and a top) and you won't need to bring anything with you. Try to express an interest in whatever work you're applying for (e.g. if it's a bookshop, emphasise that you enjoy reading etc). Alternatively, you could visit their website and send them a polite email that states your age and why you are interested in working there. At 15, you can work in some shops, cafes & restaurants, libraries, babysitting etc. Good luck :)

Your too young to get legal work until your 16 or get you N.I card unless you do a paper round or something equally as bad!
