depends who you want to help. hold a food drive at school for starving children, raise money for orphans or children in need of operations. try out Operation Smile its a wonderful fund. you can simply put a box at school for old books and toys to donate to charity. there are lots of way to help out less fortunate people. we just need to think about it more. every little bit counts.

Educate the parents and then educate the children.  If they are educated on how to grow their own food and or learn a trade they can care for themselves.  Also providing birth control and offer sterilizing couples would prevent too many mouths to feed.  When we just give them what they need we are actually contribute to the problem because more people survive so more mouths to feed.  More medical needs.
