How can you burn DVD's???

Question

I copy video files from a dvd i have then i convert it to MPEG. When i try to burn... the program i use says that there is no CD in the drive...

My burner says DVD rom so i think it can burn DVD's right?

Hmm... I don't think you can. I think you have to have one that says "compact disc rewritable" on it. I have the same one you have, and it doesn't write on DVDs, I had to get one that says "rewritable" on it.

it might be a dvd rom drive.... that can only read DVDs..

you need a dvd burner to burn them...

using DVD burner.

it should be installed in your computer.

if it's not, get a software.

and make sure your C drive is able to burn them.

some C drives are not compatible.

Make sure the blank DVD your burning it onto is actually a burnable disc and also that it is big enough to have the whole movie on it.
