How can you tell...? GUYS!!?

Ok, so I've noticed that some boys are NOT very good at flirting. I know for a fact (from my guy friends who tell me) that some of the guys in my grade think I am hot... BUT i would never ever know this if they hadn't told me! It's impossible to figure out!! What is flirting in "guy language"... like what do you do to show a a girl that you don't really know that you like her (she goes to your school)??

Also, what could i do that is not too intimidating to them to maybe open up a convo or whatever....?

Guys flirt differently,some don't even know they're doing it(like me),some tell dumb jokes as a test to see if a girl likes him-if the girl laughs she does(or she has a bad sense of humor-thats why we tell a string of 2 or 3 of 'em)some guys offer or ask for help depending on how easy or hard the work is.Yet others can't flirt to save their life.Those guys are afraid of crashing and burnig-making them publicaly humiliated.Some still just make friends with the girl they like to get to knw them before asking them out.Its all about their personality.If its in gym they don't want to flirt because they are all sweaty unless its before gym or the locker rooms have showers.They don't flirt during class because they are focusing on you and are trying to impress you with their atheletic ability.But you could be more friendly by eating lunch with them and hanging out.Hope this helps.
