How did Royalty start?

Did someone one day just say: "hey you! You're our new king!"? How did it all start?

   It all links back to religion. I noticed one person said something about King Author which is so stupid that they never should have answered because Royalty started long before then such as an example King Solomon who was long before King Author. But if you research you will see that all royals are like the highest ranks of a church. Such as the Pope who is elected by the Catholic Church he is the King of the Vatican City. And as for kingdoms and Countries these high figures of The Church began to obtain land  for there people. But over the ages monoarchs became afraid of losing their position so they decided to hide the truth and over time it became a political entity. That is why churchs are allowed to grant title such as lord or prince/princess. But many churchs have stopped because Queen Elizabeth threw a fit. On my mothers side I am royal and I carry the title of prince of faith from Universal Life Church which they no longer grant because of the UK royals. All in all it is more of a religious status research and you will see it all leads back to religion. I promise you that
