In Tenerife last Christmas Day while we were on holiday total surprise I put the ring on wrong finger! Were getting hitched in Vegas next April.

He proposed to me whilst we were in the pub garden in front of all our mates. He was tryiing to find a way to get the ring out of his pocket so told us there was a lizard on the wall (????????), when I turned back round he was there with this big diamond and he sed "Will u marry me"

I was so surpirsed, we are now planning to get married next Feb in Cuba and I cant wait!

In the middle of time square. It was his first time there so I was showing him around and couldn't wait to take pictures! Then he started telling me a story how at a meeting a work there was a debate about if you look at the glass half empty you will always do that. My guy made an argument back and said he use to do that but he changed. When his coworkers asked him what changed him, he said me! I was standing there thinking he was venting about work haha. I had no idea and then he took my hand and said he loved me and I started getting sooooo nervous. Then he did it, with about 40 people there to see it! It was perfect!

first time over msn , told him he had to do it properly to get an answer ( we weren't living together at the time) i believe i made him propose 4 times. last time i was feeding my baby but he went down on one knee told me how much he loved me and asked me to marry him.

I had no clue, we had never ever spoke about getting married (even tho we had been together for 4 years lol)

We had said we was not going to get each other gifts that year just stocking stuffer things well he put my engagment ring in my stocking. I was so suprised he got down on one knee and everything! awww guess you had to be there lol

We had went to dinner to celebrate my divorce becoming final and he said hey lets get married.  I thought he was joking as I had just got out of a horendous marriage like  him, but he was serious.  A week later I accepted and we will be celebrating 20 years of marriage this September.

He surprised me with a Hot air balloon ride over wine country for my birthday. I just thought he was nervous from the height but it was really he was sweating the proposal. He whispered,"will you marry me?" and I could only nod. Later on he told me that he had this whole speech planned but couldn't get it out and I told him how I had planned my acceptance but I couldnt get it out so we were even! LOL

We love theme parks and aquariums, so he took me to Disney's Epcot and we spent the whole day on new years eve there.  Then, that new years eve night, when the fireworks were going off he droped on one knee inthe closely packed crowed and proposed.  He pictured it as a magical moment withthe fireworks going off, and people clearing a circle/space around us and clapping as I say yes!!  (LOL) didn't happen the way he wanted it!  We were partially behind a tree and also seeing the backs of many people infront of our short selves!  When he dropped on one knee, he barely had much room to move around cause it was soo crowded...only one woman saw him and pointed him out to her husband.  Everyone else were lost inthe wonderful display of the fireworks!  It was still great to me...it was like time stood still for those 7 seconds I realized what he was doing with his stretched out hands holding my ring!  (LOL)  Wouldn't have wanted it any other way!!!!

it was the day before valentines day and he said he wanted to go get his 5 yr old whom lives with her mom. I was a little peeved becuase the Vday before sucked for us so I was ready to make up for last year. So as I got off work I stopped at the flower shop and got her a pink rose and him a red. I pulled up in the drive and she comes haulin out the door with the most busted lookin, wilted roses!  bouquet upside down and petals just flying everywhere screaming 'happy balentimes day' and giggling like I wish i still could!!!  as I am tackeling my two vases and a dozen roses just handed off I have fat tears in my eyes and all the resentment has just turned to thankfulness of how lucky I am for her to love me too. I get inside and set all my things down and she begs me to my bedroom where she has more stuff for me...she is acting like its christmas eve--that deep in your stomach excitement that takes your breath away...i found it cute! so there is a card that she asked me to read outloud cause daddy sealed it before she got to read it (which she can't read) so I did and then she asked me for a chocolate from the $30 box she picked out...they were cute!!! with chocolate running from her face she excitedly looked up at him and said "okay I'm ready!! they both got down on one knee and said will you marry us?" I was ballin in no time with an excited Yes!! she was so excited!! He said they practiced and she pulled it off perfect!! I will never resent her presents again!

I told my guy those were beautiful roses...wilted, edges cracked, almost black in spots and just not busted!! He said those were the ones she had to have--he tried to talk her into the peachy yellow one (my fav) and she said "these are the roses for the occasion dad"

after a night of drinking and filling up on Spicy Mexican food he made a most God awful smelly mess in the loo. When I went in to clean up, I found a cheap dollar store ring in a pile of vomit and goo. After I cleaned it up I asked him if I could keep it and he was so gracious "sure" he said "and it can mean anything you want it to". I'm not sure what he meant coz I often see him with other women but as far as I'm concerned, I'm hitched =) Lucky me . set for life. Dayum gotta go listen to 7things by Miley Cyrus for all the ways I can't not love this incredible neanderthal

me and my hubby went to the beach we always went to to watch the sunset. Where we grew up you were able to see the Chicago skyline in the sunset. (we grew up in NW Indiana) so i told him one day i was going to move there if he liked it or not. He looked at me and told me he couldn't be with out me if his life depended on it. So he got out this gorgeous ring and proposed to me right there. He had another plan in mind when he was going to ask me. I later found out he knew he was gonna get deployed soon and carried the ring around for 5 weeks waiting for the right time to ask me.
