I think all these people are telling you how to ACT like a nerd. Dont follow any advice on Wearing glasses, or Wearing your pants higher than usual. Cos im assuming you really want to be a nerd on the inside. And you dont have to look like one to be one. Just take an interest in something intellectual eg: Physics, and devote yourself to it. Study it deeply, but the subject has to be something your interested in. Just do something intellectual basiccaly.

Whats on the inside will always shine through, so dont think you need to dress like a nerd to BE one.

Oooo! Ooo! I know this one!

I am all over this! So you want to be a nerd- well, I'll tell you my friend, it ain't all sunshine and lollipops.

First off, you need to stop socializing with people who can carry on a conversation about current events, entertainment, literature, heck anything more than science fact and fiction and a little fantasy is bad!  

You should be the walking encyclopedia of all things scientific, futuristic and medieval.  You know your dragons and your warp drive inside out!

Next you need to join an MMORPGs and meet up with a guild using only your fancy net name (which should be something that everyone who reads it can tell you are a nerd trying to be studly).  Slowly, you begin to take on the personality of the character you've created while you socialize with anyone who will still talk to you.  You even start referring to yourself in the 3rd person and give Bob Dole a run for his money!! =D

Any other video game or PC game obsessions are up to you- they just become gravy to the already nerdy pile....

Finally we get to the appearance- plaid pants pulled up way too high for fashion's sake; golf shirts that are a little too loud colour wise; either beat up runners or those nice loafers that your mother would love to buy you; no real sense of hair style, it kind of just lays there on your head without any real shape at all; and last but not least, glasses- if you don't have or need them, it's alright- but if you've got them they should be the ugliest inventions known to man and the strip above the nose should be broken from too many bully attacks.  They should be held together with duct or electrical tape on the little bridge above the nose... What a sight!

That's how you become a nerd.

Alternatively, you could do one thing differently- you could take an interest in fashion, as I do, and yet still be all about the science fact/fiction and fantasy and the video games.  I tell you, I'm one of the best looking nerds out there!

Start by watching all the star wars and sci fi stuff like that. Know about all the new technology before it comes out, know a lot of things that other people don't, i.e. be book smart. And wear mis macthing clothes. Have fun!

Three easy steps:

3. Always carry a satchel full of books and never look up from it. Be ready to defend and protect your books and give mono-syllabic answers to any question unless it is not about a book, then you should be ready to deliver a hour-long lecture.

Also: Wear ONLY stripped/checked shirts, and striped cardigans. And attach suspenders - no belts and buckles.

If you go to school, make sure that your teachers dream of more students like you. Also, make sure there are none!

Why do you like to be one?

I think it will be easy for you to be one, you are highly intellectual (ehem!)

You are not into popular things (i.e. Twilight, Harry Potter, etc)

You just need to add some:

eyeglasses (aha! you are already wearing one)

braces...

and grow some acne (whoah!)

and put your pants higher than the usual...
