How do I clear recent searchs?

You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

Close all browser windows, then open a new one. Click on tools at the top of your screen, go to internet options. In the drop down menu go to "temporary internet files", delete all cookies and other temp-files.

A ha! How not to leave a trail of p**n history? Lol!

Go to the Tools icon, then internet options and delete browsing history. This can be susicious though as an observer would realise you have something to hide if there is no history at all so you can just go to Favourites, select History and delete individual searches by right clicking and selecting delete.
