the quick and easy way is to use a can of refrigerated biscuits....  poke a hole in the middle and deep fry them about 2-3 minutes each side at about 400 degrees...  make sure to keep flipping them so they cook perfectly all around.  as soon as they are nice and golden, take 'em out and sprinkle them with powdered sugar or chocolate sauce!
