How do I move to Toronto?

I read on some website that you need to either already have a job in Canada, be engaged to marry someone in Canada, or be a student there in order to move there. I have no education I'm a single mom and a freelance artist as a job (though it isn't going well here in the states it was suggested to me that I move to Toronto where a fine arts fantasy artist can make a living) So how would I go about moving there without any of the requirements , like if I just want to do it just to do it? The US is too hard to survive I'm a single mom my kids have no medical insurance and we struggle to survive constantly, even paying utilities and rent is stressful and sometimes I can't.

Get a job in Canada.

Get engaged to someone in Canada.

Become a student in Canada.

I don't think you need to have any of those to move to Canada. I did some research and I didn't find anything like that. You'll probably just have to do a lot of paperwork and whatnot.

umm, I had almost the same situation you have now. You could try the following options

1. Go for a short visit, find a guy, get in engaged! (later if things didnt worked out, you could leave him but ur residence visa will stay intact)

2. Visit Canada, search for a job, then apply for a work permit which wud take a week. start work! you could also consider (Canadian point system residence category) which may help u residing out in Toronto.

3. Go to Toronto first, apply for a OPEN WORK PERMIT right in canada and start work.

If you are US citizen, you dont need to apply for Visa! Visit as visitor and try the above!
