How do I sell on eBay?

Question

I am not a regular eBay user, but when I needed to sell my used gamecube, I decided I would try it. I have made an account and I have bidded on items in the past but I have never sold anything. I am trying to sell a used gamecube system along with a carrying case, two games, and a controller with an extension cord. I want to know if I have to pay any fees to eBay to sell my item (and how much) and how much shipping will cost. Thanks in advance!

Ebay offers a rather complete Seller’s Tutorial that explains how to get started, what it costs, and the mechanics of using the site. You can find it here:

Determining what to sell is much more complicated than merely listing an item. You need to (1) chose a product that is in demand, (2) know your product extremely well, (3) have a source to purchase that product at a very good price, (4) know the marketplace for your product, (5) know where you can fit into that market, and (6) be able to sell your product at a competitive price on eBay, yet (7) still assure yourself of an adequate profit for your effort.

It's not easy to get started, as you can see, but if you get all the pieces to fit properly, it can be very lucrative.

It's very easy to list your gamucube to sell in eBay.

If you sell it in www.ebay.com.my, there are no insertion fees or final value fees involved.

But if you intend to sell in the bigger eBay Sites like USA, UK, Australia and etc, you have to pay insertion & final value fees.

For shipping cost, you have to go to www.pos.com.my and click on 'postage calculator' and calculate your postage cost in advance.

Since u're selling an expensive item, consider using Pos Laju.
