How do I stop this behavior

I'm a straight good looking young man in high school but I have this problem when I see other guys that are better looking than me I instantly hate them. I'm always trying to make myself better looking than them, I hate this behavior how do I stop this?

I think your best bet is to go out of your way to be nice to anyone you instinctively hate and try to get to know them. You'll probably make Friends with a few of these people you initially hated and you'll associate those physical attributes with your freinds instead as competion.

Stop now, you are going down a trap a lot of females go to.  It will make you nothing but jealous, katty and always looking for a way to undercut the other guy.  

Remember what is good about yourself and let that stand regardless of what others might look like.

dude, its called ENVY and it is a sin. I feel the same way everytime i watch a show involving spoiled brats.

Learn how to feel better about yourself instead of feeling negative about others. Find yourself, I know it's a cliche but you will always feel badly toward others until you can feel good about yourself. Determine your positive points or better yet make some changes within yourself that make you feel more positive about yourself.

When it comes down to it, looks won't get you very far in life. Looks fade and what is left is the real you. Do you like the real you? If not, change it.

Realize that looks are no everything. You are putting to much emphasis on the outward appearance.

And hate makes a person ugly, it is a negative emotion, that shows up in our expressions.
