How do I supervise a sleepover?

A bunch of my son's friends are over (they are 14-15 years old). I would like to supervise them the whole night.... how do I do that? Should I sit in the room next door? Is sitting upstairs okay as long as I stay awake? Do I even have to stay awake? my son is a really good kid and I trust him, I just want to keep an eye on his friends (he has a "bad boy" in his group of friends) and make sure he doesn't get influenced by them. But I also don't want to be a party pooper and ruin their fun. Please help!

  1. they are kids you do need to supervise them. i would say sit in another room were you can hear them. just treat them like a kid should be handled. if it was a 16-17 then let them free.

  2. no just secretly stay in the next room and usually at sleep overs you know they talk about the girls they like and stuff so dont bust in on them for little things just if they fo something bad.

  3. DON'T sleep down there, Your son will prbably be embarassed.

DO check them often - every 30 minutes or so.

    Good luck!

  4. Do what ever it is youd do on a normal night and have a main area where he and his mates should be most of the night aka the lounge room..

you can stay up stairs just listen out for things that may be getting too roudy.. make it a rule no one is to leave the house [always a rule at my friends partys...] check on them every now and then to make sure everything going to your liking.
