How do I update my java?

It always displays this balloon in my task bar saying "java update available" and then when I click on it it disappears and there is no icon for it in the task bar. Help!!

There should be a an icon, usually orange i think, under where the balloon appeared, click on that or double click, should prompt you to upgrade. If that doesn't work go to www.java.com and just download the latest version it will update the one you have.
