  1. College volleyball players start trainning in jan for season that starts in august, we build in bulk and speed. we work alot on the sand courts to keep the impact low to reduce the chance of stress fractures and stuff like that. closer to the start of season we work on the court working on fundamentals, but we are only allowed to work with the couches for 8 hours a week.


  2. Weights, tons of approaches, suicides/killers, non stop running, 2 a day practices for a wekk 3hrs each, both for conditioning, and then conditioning all year.

  3. at my school, we go through intense conditioning such as running up and down stairs, tons and tons of spike approaches and various other exercises to help strengthen our legs and arms. also, in practices, we do a lot of passing and seriving and setting and spiking. that's really all there is to volleyball.

  4. Intensely! Practice Every day 9:30-12:45, Then Half hour Conditioning, Then I meet with my trainer for a good hour...every day

  5. Well, we usually use weights and do jump training. We work on ball control the most. We also really have to stay in shape.
